She had done the work.
Over a decade of healing.
A relationship coach.
Someone who *knew* the frameworks, the language, the tools.
And yet there she was — naked,
chasing a man onto the front balcony, begging him not to leave.
That was Jasmine’s rock bottom.
Not a breakdown from ignorance.
A breakdown from suppression.
Because here’s the thing most personal development spaces won’t tell you:
You can do all the right work —
the inner child timelines, the forgiveness rituals, the “raise your vibration” practices —
and still be completely abandoned inside yourself.
Why?
Because most of it is designed to get rid of the parts of you that feel inconvenient.
The messy parts.
The shameful parts.
The parts that don’t fit the healer / good girl /
spiritual woman identity you’ve worked so hard to build.
Jasmine had buried her.
The exotic dancer.
The one who had fire.
The one who took no sh*t.
The one who knew exactly how to hold a boundary
and never once questioned her own magnetism.
And in burying her —
she also buried her standards,
her desire, her sense of self worth.
So she stayed.
Twelve more months past the moment she knew.
Performing connection.
Tolerating breadcrumbs.
Trying to force a fantasy into a person who was never going to fit it.
The shift didn’t come from doing *more* work.
It came from turning toward the parts she’d been running from.
________
I just released the full episode with Jasmyn
and it is one of the most honest conversations I’ve put out.
We go deep on:
- Why accomplished, self-aware women end up the most stuck in these dynamics
- The difference between spiritual bypassing and real integration
- What it actually looks like when your standards rise (hint: it doesn’t feel like discipline)
- How Jasmyn went from chasing a man in tears
to finding a relationship that feels completely effortless
And if something in this landed for you —
if there’s a version of yourself you’ve been trying to get rid of instead of bring home —
I want to hear about it.
Comment below or send me an email at nima@becometriggerproof.com and share your backstory.
We’re listening.

No pressure.
No pitch.
Just a real conversation to see if it’s the right fit.
She would have zero objections to going back and forth over email first.
You don’t have to keep white-knuckling your way through this alone.
Your wingman on the adventure,
